Sofia Vergara on engagement ring from Manhasset jeweler: 'Perfection'

Few stars comment on those flashy hunks of ice, aka engagement rings, but Sofia Vergara — as everybody knows — is not one to hold back. The voluptuous, 40-year-old star of “Modern Family,” told Us magazine earlier this month, “It is perfection. If it was bigger, it would be too big to wear. But if it was smaller, I would not like.”
She refers to the honker purchased at Two by London at the Americana Shops in Manhasset in July by her fiance, businessman Nick Loeb, that features a blinding seven carat center stone surrounded by two trapezoid side stones, each one carat. Set in platinum, the rock is not subtle.
“She's a very important person and gorgeous,” said Two by London president Scott Udell, who assisted Loeb in the design process of the custom ring. “He wanted the ring to reflect her beauty and personality.”
When Vergara visited the store for size adjustment, Udell says, “She said we hit the nail on the head.” While Udell declined to give the price of the ring, we're guessing it wasn't cheap.
