Tutti's children's boutique in Greenvale creates custom gift baskets for milestones and birthdays

Christina Connelly's children's boutique, Tutti, has moved locations, changed names and expanded into a family operation since its inception in 1990. One thing that's stayed the same: curated gift baskets for special occasions remain among the most popular sellers.
In the spring, the boutique moved from a smaller shop to a new, larger location in Wheatley Plaza in Greenvale. With the changing times, her basket designs for baby showers, birthdays and camp send-offs have evolved to keep up with trends and customers’ needs.
"They’re just getting bigger and better and more extravagant," Connelly says.
Gift baskets, which are made to order and done by theme — unicorn, bear, sports, cars, and neutral — include toys, blankets and pillows that coordinate. They start at $75 and go up to $1,000 for a larger basket with outfits, a blanket, towels and accessories.
In addition to baskets, Tutti carries clothing, books, toys, stuffed animals, hair accessories and handbags.
"We monogram on the spot as well," says Connelly. The monogramming is done by Connelly's daughter Carol, 26, who works as the store's buyer and manager. Connelly’s younger daughter Ava, 17, also works in the shop and sells hair accessories which she makes.
"We have a whole theme wall of all add-on accessories to all our clothing and anything you would also buy for a gift," Connelly says.
