GINA AND SAM SAPIENZA, of Farmingdale, were wed Feb. 8, 1964, at St. Joseph Patron Roman Catholic Church in Brooklyn. They had their reception at Ricardo’s Catering Hall in Astoria, Queens. They met in 1961, at a dance inWhitestone, Queens. Gina is a retired schoolteacher from Farmingdale school district and Sam is a retired New York City police officer. They have two children and two grandchildren. They plan to celebrate with a three-week vacation in Aruba.
