Who says you have to say goodbye to summer? Prolong the inevitable by filling your calendar this Labor Day weekend with outdoorsy things to do — from a country concert to a lighthouse climb to a dinosaur safari.

Shinnecock Powwow in Southampton
Celebrate the end of summer with the Shinnecock Nation as the tribe holds its annual powwow in Southampton.
The annual event features tribal dances, Native American crafts, food and drum competitions, 3 to 11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday-Sunday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. Foodie Fest at Tanger Outlets Deer Park

Dino Safari at Walt Whitman Shops
