3Natives, an acai and juicery that began in Florida, has opened in Huntington, marking the franchise's first location in New York.

Founded in 2013 as a small juice bar by Anthony Bambino, 3Natives now has more than 25 shops across the country. Huntington siblings Meghan, Dan and Patrick Moriarty are the trio behind the Huntington location. They became familiar with the brand through their mother, who has a home in Jupiter, Florida, and would frequent the shop.

"When we went down to visit, we would always wind up accompanying her and loved it just as much as she did," Meghan said. While the shop catered mostly to people looking for a juice fix when it opened 10 years ago, the concept has evolved to include wraps, salads, toasts, soups and hot pressed sandwiches.

The Huntington location boasts white subway-tiled walls and a few tables for those looking to dine in. The selection of acai and yogurt bowls runs the gamut from the "Chronic" with acai, granola, banana, strawberry, kiwi, pineapple, coconut and honey ($7.75) to the "Calypso" with yogurt, granola, almond butter, banana, raspberry, blueberry, pineapple, chia and hemp seeds. Bagels and toasts can be had simply or protein-heavy ($10) with avocado, hard boiled egg, red onion, feta and sprouts. There are Thai and Buffalo chicken wraps ($12), Cobb and Greek salads ($13.50). Hot sandwiches span a tuna melt on multigrain to a breakfast burrito ($12) loaded with pico de gallo, corn salsa and avocado ranch dressing.

Juices ($10) are pressed on site and include the "Slim N' Spicy," with lemon, ginger, agave and cayenne and "Easy Greens," made with spinach, kale, celery, apple and cucumber. For something a little more substantial, consider smoothies like the "Chuck Norris," a banana, strawberry, peanut butter, chocolate protein and almond milk concoction ($9).
