Robert Moses State Park will be hosting a food truck jamboree for the next few weeks. The brick-and-mortar food service operation at the park is not yet open and, in the interim, Long Beach-based Island Artisanal Ventures has corralled a posse of local vendors to feed  beachgoers. Among the trucks are:

Eat Me, Drink Me serving Alice in Wonderland-themed burgers (the Mad Hatter features a cheese-filled grass-fed patty topped with bacon and a sunny-side-up egg) plus poutine and chili.

Blondie's Bake Shop serving cookies, cupcakes and more.

Chiddy's Cheesesteaks serving customizable cheesesteaks with hand-cut fries.

Island Empanada serving a rotating roster of filled pies

Roxy's Ice Cream serving soft-serve, shaved ice and packaged ice cream bars and cones.

Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. serving beer.

Grill Boys serving burgers, grilled cheese and more

All the trucks (except for Grill Boys) will be at the beach during Memorial Day weekend from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thereafter, the trucks will rotate according to demand and weather. On weekdays there should always be a truck at Field 2 and Field 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; on weekends there will be multiple trucks at fields 2 and 5 and possibly Field 3. Check Island Artisanal Ventures' Facebook page for updates and specifics.

According to Island Artisanal Ventures' Ray Smyth, the trucks will be at Robert Moses through June 14, when the new food concessionaire is scheduled to open.

Robert Moses State Park is at 600 Robert Moses State Pkwy., Babylon
