Think old world elegance and you've got the Argyle, with its dark, polished wood, black and white photos and crisp tableclothes.
The emphasis is on steak and seafood, such as the macadamia nut-crusted sea bass with pine nut relish and shrimp succotash. The Argyle offers a changing parade of specials: Monday features an all-inclusive dinner with four glasses of wine featuring various vineyards for $39.95. Tuesday sees a $10 wine discount and Wednesday offers a prix fixe steak dinner for $21.95. Kids can order from the children's menu.
The Argyle is suitable for bridal and baby showers and corporate lunches.
The bar offers a happy hour of half-priced cocktails Monday through Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday's happy hour, 3 to 7 p.m., feautres half-priced cocktails and complimentary appetizers.
