Babylon Fish & Clam

Right near the Babylon Municipal Dock, this restaurant in a pretty wood-sided building offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Eighty customers can sit out in the breezes of the Great South Bay, and another 80 can dine in the nautical-themed interior. Though it's a year-round restaurant, summer is the high point, when the bar's specialty, frozen drinks, are most welcome. The restaurant features five to eight specials a day, with a variety of fish--flounder, striped bass, salmon--stuffed with crab meat a winner. When they whip up the hearty jambalaya, it goes like crazy. The kids menu makes this a good destination for families.
