Black Forest Brew Haus, the Farmingdale microbrewery and restaurant, starts celebrating its 13th annual Oktoberfest on Sunday.
The events include a one-day "Kidfest" from noon to 5 p.m., featuring carnival games, face painting and a lot of popcorn.
There also will be live music from German bands on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. The 'fest continues through Oct. 9., with German specialties on the menu, costumes, souvenirs and the Haus' Oktoberfest brews
