BurgerFi comes to Oceanside
A new burger chain makes its Long Island debut Tuesday. BurgerFi, based in Florida, will start serving a menu of cooked-to-order hormone-and-antibiotic-free burgers, specialty hot dogs, freshly cut fries and more. Sustainability is big here, with recycled materials used to fabricate the furniture. Chairs, for example, are fashioned out of recycled Coke bottles.
On the menu: the BurgerFi burger ($5.57; 510 calories), the VegeFi burger, made with quinoa, lentils, carrots mushrooms and squash ($6.94; 520 calories), a New York-style all-natural hot dog ($3.47; 330 calories), a Wagyu Kobe beef dog ($4.97; 380 calories), a regular order of fries ($2.97, 650 calories) and a coffee mocha shake ($4.47, 910 calories).
Other branches are planned for Woodbury and Babylon.
BurgerFi is at 3115 Long Beach Rd., Oceanside, 516-415-7900, burgerfi.com.
