Burgers Bar, a kosher eatery on Central Avenue in Cedarhurst, is shuttered. The quirky little bilevel spot served some of the best grilled ground beef patties on Long Island. Great ground lamb, too. And house-made potato chips.
Truly, a shame for gastronomes who observe the laws of kashrut. And for burger lovers Island-wide.
