The stars are out, and they’re eating up a storm. This summer, it seems they’re going for the fresh and casual.

Starting at Bostwick’s Chowder House in East Hampton, you would have found Joy Behar, co-host of ABC’s “The View” sitting outside enjoying a lobster roll on Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. The next day celebrity chef Bobby Flay, of “Throwdown With Bobby Flay,” and the face of Bobby’s Burger Palace, visited with a few friends to share steamers, lobsters and fish tacos at the hotspot. The following weekend, Cleveland’s Michael Symon of ABC’s “The Chew” stopped by, perhaps in town helping his stepson, Kyle Shanahan, with his soon-to-open Grindstone Coffee & Donuts in Sag Harbor.

Townline BBQ in Sagaponack has been another summer kickoff destination, with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks center Kris Humphries — an ex of Kim Kardashian — visiting with friends over a pulled chicken sandwich. Post-Memorial Day on a Thursday, “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon sat at the bar, where he ordered a burger for lunch.

On Sunday over the holiday weekend, celebrity go-to Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton hosted Ethan Hawke, who dined on the patio, apparently with family and friends. He ordered a whole branzino, listed on the menu with haricot verts and shallots, drizzled with butter and garnished with sliced almonds.

And at Indian Wells Tavern in Amagansett, actor-turned-roots-rocker Kiefer Sutherland — who’s releasing his first album, “Down in a Hole,” this summer — came in on a Saturday wearing aviators and grabbed a seat along with two companions. He ordered a prime rib sandwich on toasted garlic ciabatta dolloped with horseradish and served au jus.
