A casual and informal restaurant, Cliff's Elbow Room is one of three related Cliff's restaurants on the East End. The Elbow Room is set in a freestanding building that has a traditional pub feel to it, with decor that leans to wood and a nautical theme. The food runs from burgers to steaks to seafood. Steaks can be prepared plain or marinated, which is the more popular choice, with a marinade recipe the restaurant has use since 1952. For dinners, a shell steak costs $23.95, a porterhouse is $25.95 and a filet mignon is $27.95. Dinners are served with a choice of potato and vegetable. A popular appetizer is the zesty shrimp, jumbo shrimp warapped in bacon, and broiled with seasoning for $8.95. The restaurant has a full bar, a wine list that draws heavily from North Fork vineyards and a dining room that seats 60.
