There’s paper covering the windows of Plum Gourmet Kitchen in Kings Park, a pizzeria-deli-produce market-grocery-cafe that opened about a year and a half ago. A telephone call elicited a rapid-fire busy signal; the website is no longer functional.

All signs point to the end of the line for a multipurpose spot that, perhaps, did too many things at a location — midway between Main Street and the Sunken Meadow Parkway — with minimal commercial traffic.
