The Arden, a destination for dining, dancing, live music and entertainment, is slated to open Thursday in Port Jefferson.
The restaurant is offering a tapas-style menu, with dishes such as duck tacos, root-beer braised short ribs, flatbreads, sushi rolls and larger plates such as a 24-oz. Tomahawk rib-eye steak, fish and chips and herb-rubbed tuna.
From the bar menu: tuna nachos, pork potstickers, a Kobe-style beef hot dog, vegetable spring rolls, chicken wings, and prosciutto and burrata cheese.
Both have a burger. And The Arden will have a "pour your own pint" feature at tables throughout the place, allowing customers to self-serve tap beers via tablet touch screens.
The consulting chef is Scott Hastings, executive chef of Dockers in Westhampton Beach. The Arden was designed by Celano Design, which has fashioned LIV Nightclub in Miami Beach, Bagatelle in Las Vegas and Tavernita in Chicago.
Joe Vicari, operating partner, said the establishment will be "a restaurant in a fun setting, for dancing, eating and enjoying the scene."
Restaurant prices range from $9 to $15 for small plates; $13 to $16 for flatbreads; $13 to $17 for sushi; and $15 to $49 for main dishes. Bar fare: $7 to $16.
