TR Restaurant & Bar, a seafood specialist, takes over the site of Before the Bridge in Hampton Bays this season.
Tom Rutyna is the namesake TR. He previously was chef at The Coast Grill in Southampton. Expect main dishes to cost $20 to $36; appetizers, $9 to $15. Grilled lobster, grilled squid, prawns, soft-shell crabs and sashimi will be on the new menu, plus duck and tuna dishes.
TR is situated behind Tully's Seafood Market, north of the Ponquogue Bridge.
