Sertinos Cafe, specializing in breakfast, sandwiches, panini, soups, salads, pastries and coffees, is expected to open its first New York branch on Saturday in Smithtown.

The family-oriented eatery will be giving away more than 500 gift cards, each worth $20, during the weekend. Sertinos also has a members' rewards program with discounts and donations to local nonprofit groups. This weekend, the cafe will open at 7 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday.

Sertinos will be open weekdays at 5:45 a.m., closing at 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The owner-developer of the Smithtown spot is Craig Lowenthal of East Northport.
