Downtown Burger at Five Points Cafe is a "local magnet, drawing people in with hefty burgers and lightweight tabs," Joan Reminick writes in this week's Cheap Eats column. She recommends the Sayville restaurant's "beautiful burgers" and the Reuben sandwich made with meat brought in from Manhattan's Carnegie Deli.
Newsday's Peter Gianotti reviews North Fork Oyster Co., a new addition to Greenport. He praises the Hog Necks and Malpeques, among the oysters, as well as the "creamy Long Island chowder-n-chili" and the monkfish “osso buco,” giving the restaurant three stars.
