Ariel Meredith at Georgica

With July Fourth falling on a Thursday this year, some night spots are treating the day before like a Friday.

For anyone hanging out in the Hamptons during this upcoming extended holiday weekend, Georgica Restaurant and Lounge in Wainscott has an event set for Wednesday that is both bash and benefit.

Kicking off at 8 p.m., Georgica will be hosting a fundraiser for The Voss Foundation, a nonprofit group that works to provide clean, usable water to communities in sub-Saharan Africa. The event opens with a cocktail hour, and them moves to a two-hour dinner followed by an after party that begins at 11 p.m. All of this will be presented by supermodel Ariel Meredith (best known for her work in three different editions of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit Issue).
