Cinema Arts Centre and the Huntington chapter of Slow Food will present “Let's Eat: A Film Feast in Five Courses” on Sunday, Feb. 16.

Each of five short (five- to 30-minute-long) films will be paired with a guest speaker, and the screening will be followed by a reception featuring thematically appropriate dishes.

Film 1 “Growing Farmers” discusses the lack of affordable farmland on Long Island and the efforts of the Peconic Land Trust to help young farmers.

Accompaniment: Miso Vegetable Chowder

Film 2 “Letting Salt Just Be Salt” is about Steven and Natalie Judelson, owners of Amagansett Sea Salt Co.

Accompaniment: Roasted Vegetables with Sea Salt

Film 3, a double bill with “The Secret Life of Beef,” illustrating the impact that the industrial beef industry has on the environment, and “Divine Brine,” about a local pickle company based in Calverton.

Speakers:  Cristina Cosentino, writer for Edible Long Island, and Robert Schaefer, owner of Divine Brine

Accompaniment: Veggie sliders with grass-fed-beef meatballs served with Divine Brine pickles

Film 4: “A Pasta Story” visits Azienda SanCristoforo in Tuscany, a biodynamic farm and producer of artisanal pasta.

Speaker: Jim Bancheri, owner of Mascali-Larkfield Pasta in East Northport

Accompaniment: Pasta pomodoro

Film 5 “Greyston Bakery” is about the Bronx bakery that hires the hard-to-employ, and uses its profits to fund community projects.

Accompaniment: Greyston’s brownies with Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream
