Garden City: Food 'n Brew @ Waterzooi

Waterzooi, the big Belgian-style bistro, hosts a pairing of its hearty fare with equally full-flavored Belgian beers on March 30.
The cost is $49.95, payable when you make your reservation. The beer dinner starts at 7 p.m. Brews include Augustijn Trippel, Kapittei Pater Brown Ale, Wittekerke White, Poperings Hommel and Saison Silly Farmhouse Ale. The dishes: mussels with bacon and oven-dried tomatoes, braised pork belly with spaetzle, a ragout of wild mushrooms and ramps, a charcuterie plate, and waffles with "brulee'd" bananas, caramel sauce and cream for dessert.
