GM Burger Bar opens in Rockville Centre
GM Burger Bar, the patty-centric newcomer to the George Martin Group of restaurants, starts sizzling at 5 p.m.
The casual restaurant offers more than 15 burgers, including beef, chicken, turkey, tuna and quinoa varieties, with assorted artisanal rolls, nine different cheeses, and nine separate toppings for a mix-and-match meal.
GM also features sandwiches such as the "rotisserie pork Havana," "grown up grilled cheese" and short-rib cheesesteak; tacos, quesadillas, salads and appetizers that take in sweet-and-sour pork egg rolls, Brie baked in a pretzel, and a Nueske hot dog in puff pasty with horseradish mustard.
The restaurant is slated to start offering lunch on Monday.
Price range for burgers: $8.95 to $15.95, with cheeses and toppings $1.50 each.
The original George Martin also is in Rockville Centre.
