Every Sunday is a big night at J. Michaels Tuscan Steakhouse in Northport. From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., diners will be entertained by Italian-born tenor Carmelo Raccuglia.
You may recall Raccuglia as the singing pizza maker who appeared on “Good Morning America” after the release of a YouTube video of him serenading customers at Stage Door East Deli-Pizza in East Farmingdale.
Also, on Sunday nights, the restaurant will be featuring roasted prime rib of beef, served au jus, with Yorkshire pudding — but only for those who reserve a “king” cut ($56) when booking a table. That way, said co-owner Vincent Michaels, “we can ensure the integrity of the product and roast it to a perfect temperature all the time.”
