The Fox reality show “Kitchen Nightmares,” starring celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, returned to Long Island today for a weeklong production at West Babylon’s Classic American restaurant.
In the show, Ramsay offers tough-love advice to restaurant owners whose operations have hit the skids and usually provides big-time building makeovers.
On Wednesday, crews could be seen setting up production equipment, but the owners weren’t available -- or, rather, allowed -- to talk.
Production at the restaurant, located at 691 Route 109, will run through Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 7 a.m. and midnight each day.
Fox spokeswoman Jennifer Prague said actual filiming will take place from Nov. 6 to Nov. 10.
“Kitchen Nightmares” has revamped other restaurants on Long Island, including Peter’s, The Mixing Bowl in Bellmore, Finn McCool’s in Westhampton and Handlebar in Mount Sinai.
