Lake Ronkonkoma: Beach-side clambake

On Friday, the Greater Ronkonkomas Chamber of Commerce will be holding a clambake at Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Park on the shores of Lake Ronkonkoma.
The menu: littlenecks on the half shell, steamed clams, shrimp cocktail, crabcakes, scallops, mussels Posillipo, hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecued chicken and ribs and soft drinks. Also on tap, games (hula hoops, limbo) and live music. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. The tab is $20.
