Molto Vino in Babylon: First sip

Slim as a Champagne flute, Molto Vino is pouring some fun into downtown Babylon.
The wine bar, offspring of the Solo Vino wine shop next door, snugly fits maybe 20 imbibers before it's standing-room time. On weekends, it's likely you'll be shoulder-to-shoulder. But on weekdays, it's possible to enjoy a tranquil sip, especially if you show up on the early side.
Wines are listed on the mirrors behind the bar, so you'll need get close. And ask questions about vintages and styles from the bartender/sommelier. The prices average out to $10 for a glass. Most are easygoing quaffers, with some exceptions in Port and big reds.
To go with them, there's a modest menu that's primarily panini, salads, cheeses and cured meats. The "charcuterie" play may include prosciutto, speck and sopressata; the cheeses, manchego and Asiago.
Just in case, they have Peroni and Brooklyn Lager on tap, too.
Expect the establishment to expand if and when the wine shop moves.
