South Edison, the New American eatery and raw bar, hosts a dinner Aug. 10 highlighting Wolffer Estate wines and ingredients from local producers.
Amber Waves Farm, Balsam Farm and Good Water Farms from Amagansett; Mecox Dairy Farm of Bridgehampton; and Crescent Duck Farm of Aquebogue are among the contributors. Wolffer Estate is in Sagaponack.
Chef Todd Mitgang's menu includes day-boat fluke sashimi (with Wolffer's 2010 Rose); cavatelli with heirloom cherry tomato ragu (with Classic White); grilled tilefish (with 2008 cabernet franc); a beet, bibb lettuce and tomato salad (with the 2008 Chardonnay); grilled Beijing duck breast (with Fatalis Fatum red blend); and Wolffer Rose sorbet and sweet-tomato pie (with 2010 Diosa Late Harvest Chardonnay).
Cost is $95, plus tax and tip, per person.
