Louie's Oyster Bar & Grille, the waterside landmark in Port Washington, has a new chef and an updated menu.

Micah Asculai, formerly of Ruby Foo's and The Palm in Manhattan, succeeds Ron Gelish at the veteran restaurant, where the motto is "famous since 1905." (Gelish has decamped to J. Michaels Tuscan Steakhouse, soon to be opening in Northport.)

Asculai's new dishes include Kalamata olive-and-panko-crusted swordfish, a dry-aged 20-oz. rib-eye steak, double-cut Australian lamb chops, and a warm, New England-style lobster roll.

The eatery currently offers a $19 fixed-price soup-and-lobster lunch, with a choice of either New England clam chowder, lobster bisque or soup of the day and either the warm lobster roll, a chilled lobster roll, a lobster po'boy or a lobster tail.

Earlier this year, Louie's earned a two-star rating in Newsday.
