New in Port W: Pepe Rosso 24

Restaurateur Michael Tizzano is stirring up quite a few pots in Port Washington. Tizzano, the owner at Brio and Sisina, is also a partner at Pepe Rosso 24, which recently debuted where La Piccola Angelina (and before that, Razzano’s) used to be.
It’s a colorful spot with a pizzeria on one side and a full-service trattoria on the other. A most satisfying lunch began with a thin-crusted personal Margherita pizza. Great sauce, fresh mozzarella, crisp flavorful crust. Linguine with a marine-fresh white clam sauce (mollusks both in and out of their shells) was another success.
