New restaurants at JFK’s Terminal 4
If you’re flying out of JFK’s Terminal 4, don’t bother to eat before you leave the house. The Delta-anchored terminal, which underwent a complete renovation a few years ago, is now launching an ambitious new food program.
Among the new offerings are Shake Shack, the cult burger-custard stand (whose sole Long Island location is in Westbury); Blue Smoke, Danny Meyer’s Manhattan barbecue mecca; La Brea Bakery, the artisan bakery-sandwicherie out of Los Angeles; and two restaurants created by Top Chef Masters champ Marcus Samuelsson, Uptown Brasserie and Street Food. All these and more join The Palm Bar & Grille steakhouse, which opened there in 2009.
Care for a more traditional pre-boarding repast? You’ll also find Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonald’s and Buffalo Wild Wings.
