The dining room at i Trulli in Manhattan

This year, NYC Restaurant Week’s 18th, the promotion runs for two weeks, July 12 to 25. During that time 275 restaurants offer three-course meals that cost $24.07 for lunch, $35 for dinner. (The price does not include drinks, taxes or tips; the menus are not in effect on Saturdays; some restaurants offer them on Sundays.)

Earlier this week I took advantage of the deal at i Trulli (122 E. 27th St., 212-481-7372), an Italian restaurant specializing in the cuisine of Puglia. For $35, I got fried squash blossoms with fresh ricotta, homemade pasta with broccoli rabe and almonds, and a parfait of watermelon and watermelon granita. I Trulli has one of the city’s prettiest gardens and most extensive Italian wine lists. We had a great time.
