La Maison Blanche on Shelter Island becomes Das Weisse Haus on Sunday afternoon.
The hotel-restaurant celebrates its first Oktoberfest with a traditional pig roast, plus other edibles, as well as German beer and German music. The cost is $60 for adults and $20 for children.
The gathering is from noon to 4 p.m. Reservations requested.
