Kebab-hungry East Meadow locals who miss the departed Turnpike Shish Kebab can  find skewered meat and fish in the same space, now fully renovated and redecorated. Azerbaijan Grill, an offshoot of the successful Westbury Middle Eastern-Mediterranean spot, opened there yesterday.

The new place serves an identical menu as the mother ship. Sample items: Adana kebab (ground spiced lamb, $13.95), jujeh kebab (Cornish hen, $13.95) and lamb chops ($18.95). Prices are lower at lunch.

Azerbaijan Grill is at 2320 Hempstead Tpke., East Meadow; 516-644-2200 (and 1610 Old Country Rd., Westbury; 516-228-0001), azerbaijangrill.com.
