Open in Roslyn: YOLO Yogurt & Dessert

YOLO Yogurt & Dessert, new to Roslyn Village, is more than just another frozen-yogurt dispensary. This according to owner Shila Roofim, who says that while the place does offer an array of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings (all self-serve, priced by weight), it also features gelato, miniature French pastries, macaroons, cupcakes, hot chocolate, smoothies, a variety of high-end teas and apple cider. To feed a crowd, there are also pies and cakes made with either frozen yogurt or gelato.

Roofim added that the store offers Only 8, a frozen diet dessert, as well as some kosher and pareve items made to order.

Prices run from 85 cents for a miniature pastry to $25 for a whole cake or pie.
