Paumanok Vineyards hosts its fourth annual, family-style lamb roast on Friday, Aug. 22. The winery partners with ilili restaurant in Manhattan for the event.

Chef Philippe Massoud of ilili, a Mediterranean restaurant, is the nephew of Charles Massoud, co-owner of Paumanok. The alfresco dinner will include 12 Paumanok wines.

The cost is $175 per person plus tax; $150 plus tax for Paumanok Club members. For reservations, call 631-722-8800; or email reservations@paumanok.com. Dinner starts at 6 p.m.

Massoud's menu will include assorted mezze, heirloom tomato salad, Lebanese green olives and housemade pickles, grilled octopus with Lebanese salsa verde and citrus, eight-hour slow-cooked lamb shoulder with sumac and Aleppo pepper, six-hour cured pork butt with fig sauce and harissa remoulade, charcoal-grilled chicken with garlic, lemon verbena panna cotta, and white chocolate rose pudding.

Among the wines to be poured at the open bar are Paumanok's 2010 Assemblage red blend, ranked among Long Island's 12 top wines in Newsday; 2010 merlot, 2010 cabernet sauvignon, 2012 cabernet franc, 2013 dry rose, 2013 chenin blanc, 2013 dry riesling and semi-dry riesling, and 2012 barrel-fermented chardonnay.
