Fattusco's waves the Italian flag. And it unfurls in the most appealing way: as a pizza.

This specialty pie adds broccoli rabe to the combination of shredded mozzarella, ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese. The result: a unification of flavors, and one of the top pizzas at Fattusco's. The cost is $15.95.

Of course, Fattusco's also makes a tasty Margherita; an upside-down Sicilian pizza, with fresh mozzarella and housemade tomato sauce on top; and a four-cheese pie finished with mozzarella, ricotta, Gorgonzola, and Parmesan.

In addition to the pizzas, the small kitchen turns out savory panini and hero sandwiches, fresh and dry pastas including cacio e pepe and pesto, and baked favorites that take in manicotti and lasagna.

Fattusco's, 1019 Fort Salonga Rd., Northport; 631-651-9777.
