Plainview: Fairway experts in the house tomorrow

Tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., two of Fairway Market’s most expert experts will be giving seminars at the store in Plainview. Ray Venezia, who runs the chain’s meat department, will discuss grilling and barbecue, and will demonstrate his prodigious knife skills. A grilling demo begins at noon in front of the store. Steve Jenkins, Fairway’s venerable cheese monger, will be on hand to discuss cheese, specialty items and way beyond. (The guy has an opinion — usually correct — about everything.)
