
Restaurant Week starting in Farmingdale, Huntington

Restaurant week deals are on the horizon for both Farmingdale and Huntington.
Farmingdale Restaurant Week kicks off Monday, which is also the last day of the Columbus Weekend Farmingdale Fair, and finishes Oct. 20. Each of the 15 participating restaurants offers its own dining deal that starts at 5 every night (but on Saturday, runs only until 7 p.m.).
Participants include Chichimecas, which offers a $19.95 three-course dinner; CaraCara Mexican Grill, which has a $25.95 three-course meal; Dominican Restaurant 4, which offers 15 percent off all orders; and The Rolling Spring Roll, giving a 10 percent discount off dine-in meals. Huntington Restaurant Week starts Sunday and runs until Oct. 20, and itencompasses a wide geographical area. Each of the participating restaurants — among them Jewel in Melville, Old Fields in Greenlawn and both Jonathan's Ristorante and Besito in downtown Huntington — is offering a $27.95, three-course prix-fixe meal that’s available all evening every day but Saturday, when it runs only until 7 p.m. For the full list of participants, go to dinehuntington.com.
