Freeport’s Nautical Mile, known for its surf, has just added some turf.

Prime 23 Steaks & Seafood has opened on the second level of EB Elliot’s, whose owners are among the proprietors of the new restaurant. Both restaurants have water views.

Main courses are in the $18 to $41 range. They include porterhouse, strip, rib-eye and filet mignon steaks; and chops veal, pork, and lamb. Seafood dishes take in steamed or broiled lobster, salmon with mustard sauce, linguine with red or white clam sauce, and a market-priced fish of the day.

Appetizers include lobster sliders, crab cakes, oysters Rockefeller, shellfish cocktails, raw littleneck clams and Blue Point oysters, New England-style clam chowder, and chicken satay with coconut-and-peanut dipping sauce. The openers are $8 to $21, with seafood towers of assorted shellfish at $55 and $85.

Prime 23 is open for dinner every day, from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
