Texas Taco opens third Long Island location in Hicksville

For soft tacos, burritos and a half-dozen variations of nachos, there’s Texas Taco, which has expanded with an opening in Hicksville.
It’s the third shop on Long Island, with one in Deer Park and the Sayville original, which opened in 2014.
Chicken, beef, brisket and shrimp serve as nacho add-ons or taco fillings. Specialty tacos with more ingredients are named for Long Island locations. Prices range from $2.75 to $9.99 for tacos, $4.50 to $6.95 for nachos, $5.99 to $9.50 for burritos, taco salads and quesadillas.
The final hour of business marks the late-night burrito hour for $5 ground chicken or beef burritos.
Taco Tuesdays are a given, with ground beef and chicken tacos for $2 all day. The other promo is the family pack, a mountain of food that includes rice and beans, chicken or beef, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, chips and eight hard or soft shells for $24.95.
The new location is open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
