We can hardly wait ... 22 days till spring

Snowing again. Not inches and inches. Just enough to get you aggravated. And the forecasters are saying there's more coming soon. It's snow acting like gnats and midges.
So, think about something else. Think spring. Think about gelati.
Leonetti Pastry Shop in Greenvale has the full line available today. If you can focus intently on them, you may not be distracted by the outstanding pastries. I'm currently partial to the stracciatella, or vanilla with chocolate chips.
Cardinali Bakery in Syosset also is a gelati destination, with 24 flavors ready today. The temptation is to go for the summer fruits and the tropical fruits, perhaps blueberry and mango.
Baci Gelato in Williston Park is scooping today, too. Stop in for extra-dark chocolate, panna cotta, fig, maybe mascarpone. Go with a couple of friends so you can have more.
And, for the record, Fiorello Dolce in Huntington will bring back gelati in March; Sant Ambroeus in Southampton will reopen in April.
