Wine bar Michaelangelo's in Massapequa Park serves 40 different wines

The next time you get off at the Massapequa Park railroad station, stop in at Michaelangelo's Wine Bar.
It's a narrow, dimly lit storefront, both sleek and warm, where you may choose from about 40 wines by the glass and the kind of food that goes with them.
Nibble on some olives and feta, maybe a Gorgonzola bruschetta. Then try a panino: soppressata with fresh mozzarella and a spin on pesto. And sample a red, white or rose.
The place does get pretty noisy, with all the hard surfaces and the chatter. But this is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood, and worth a visit.
