Two arrested in garage theft
Two men were arrested, charged with burglary and possession of stolen property, after taking car parts from a garage in New Cassel early yesterday, police said.
Leonel Volcy, 25, of 801 Roman Ave., New Cassel, and Jamaar Monuma, 19, of 676 Hempstead Blvd., Uniondale, were observed by responding officers stealing a tire rim at the scene, police said.
