A man was arrested at a Hicksville mall on Friday on charges of forcibly touching a teenage girl and assaulting a police officer, Nassau County police said.

Officers received reports from Broadway Commons around 4:30 p.m. of an intoxicated man who was acting aggressively to people at the shopping center, Nassau police said in a statement

Police said Allan Nunez, 30, of Bayville, inappropriately grabbed and forcibly touched a 15-year-old girl while she walked around Round 1, a bowling and arcade venue at the mall.

Nunez resisted arrest and assaulted an officer, who had injuries to his right knee and elbow, police said. The officer was taken to a hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Nunez is charged with second-degree assault, forcible touching, disorderly conduct, child endangerment, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, second-degree harassment, and resisting arrest.

He pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead, according to court records. Bail was set at $20,000 cash, $40,000 insured bond or $150,000 partially secured surety bond.
