Pattern Crime Unit detectives said a man entered the bank, at 1880 Middle Country Rd., about 2:48 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash, and the teller complied.

The suspect left the bank and walked west through the parking lot.

He was described as 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with a medium build. The suspect was wearing jeans, a blue jacket, tan shoes, possibly work boots, sunglasses and a baseball hat with a light-colored brim.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.
