One person was killed Monday evening in a single-vehicle crash on the Southern State Parkway in North Massapequa, the state police said.
A spokesperson for the New York State Police said the crash occurred on the eastbound parkway west of Exit 30 in North Massapequa.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.
No additional information about the crash was immediately available. An investigation is ongoing.
