A gas station attendant was charged with forcibly touching a 16-year-old girl multiple times inside a Huntington Station gas station earlier this week, Suffolk police said.

Around 10 p.m. on Monday, the 16-year-old walked into BP Gas Station on Walt Whitman Road when she engaged in a conversation with attendant Harjindar Singh, 61, police said.

The employee then forcibly touched the teen two separate times, police said.

The teen left the gas station and reported the incident to police on Tuesday.

Following an investigation, detectives arrested Singh, of Greenlawn, Wednesday.

He was charged with two counts of forcible touching and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

Singh was held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday.

Detectives ask anyone with information on this case or who may be a victim of Singh, to contact police at 631-854-8252.
