A Gordon Heights man shot another man four times during a dispute Tuesday night in a home on Gray Avenue, Suffolk County police said.

Courtney Clarke, 32, of Bay Shore, was shot twice in each leg with a 9 mm handgun at 8:16 p.m. and was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was in stable condition, police said.

Donovan Felder, 29, a resident of the Gray Avenue house, fled after the shooting and surrendered at the Sixth Precinct at 8:25 p.m., police said.

Police did not reveal the nature of the dispute, but said the two men knew each other.

Felder was awaiting arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Central Islip on a charge of second-degree assault, police said.
