Nassau County police are searching for two bicyclists who robbed a man at knife point Friday afternoon in Roosevelt.

A 40-year-old man was walking in front of 209 Babylon Turnpike when he was stopped by the two men about 1 p.m., police said.

One of the men pulled a knife and demanded cash, police said. The victim handed over what cash he had and the two men peddled away north on Babylon Turnpike.

The suspects were described in their mid-20s. One man was wearing a white T-shirt and red shorts with a Yankees cap. The other man was wearing jeans and a white tank top.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
