Police: Three charged in two separate elder scams

Three men were charged in two separate elder scams this week, one involving an 82-year-old Michigan woman was scammed when she was told that her grandson needed bail money after being arrested following a crash that killed a pregnant woman's unborn child, said Acting Suffolk Police Commissioner Stuart Cameron, at a news conference on Thursday.
